Winging Out…

Good Afternoon!!

Recently I have been wearing less eyeshadow and more eyeliner! You can never go wrong with a sophisticated thick winged liner! I love to pair this with a white eyeshadow and a little soft brown shadow in the crease. This is a perfect everyday look for every eye shape! Coat your lashes with some mascara or wear some amazing lashes to finish your eyes! Instant beauty in 5 minutes!

Now go check them out!!

#7 Samantha’s – Pre stacked thick beautiful lashes! I love to pair these with a thick cat-eye. They really are an eye-opening pair of lashes. I usually can get 5-10 uses out of these lashes! If I were you I would make a very large order for these! They are my FAVORITE!IMG_6097

#1 Giselle – These are a more natural version of Samantha. I like to use these on girls who are not use to wearing false lashes. They are very wispy and romantic looking on! Everyone loves Giselles! IMG_6099

#6 Claudia – These spiky detailed lashes are gorgeous for a sexy smokey eye or more intense look. I love wearing these falsies for events or a date look! IMG_6104

#3 Monique – These beautiful spider long lashes really make the eyes look large and gorgeous! I like to apply these and bottom lashes for a very open bright doe-eyed look! IMG_6105

#2 Alyssa- These beautiful individual lashes are great for stacking on top of your lashes for a more natural effect. I also  like to apply these to any false lashes to thicken them up! If you are a fan of bottom falsies you can turn them upside down and apply to the bottom for a sexy look! IMG_6108

#4 Coco Jo- these are light weight lashes with all different sized hairs! The band is super thin and easy to apply, you wont even feel them on! :) IMG_6106

Blood Orange Lips…

Hello Sweets!

Who doesnt love a bright orange lip?! I wore this look while in SF a couple weeks ago for a night in the city. I always like to pair a bright lip with winged liner, I feel that if you go for a pop of color its best to stay minimal on the eyes. I have been wearing cat eyeliner daily, it is an easy and quick go-to look that I love! Thanks for stopping by!

Lip liner: Makeup Forever Aqua Orange 17C
Lipstick: NYX “Haute Melon”
Lipgloss: NARS “Eternal Red”

Feeling Flawless: Traditional Bride Makeup

Good Morning!

Today I am sharing with you the gorgeous bridal shots from one of my best friends weddings this past weekend! I was lucky enough to doll her up for all her events and photos! We did a very chic cat-eye look for her bridals, a smokey eye for her boudoirs {HERE}, and a sultry silver & black look for her wedding day. Working on this girls face is a piece of cake, she has flawless brows and beautiful skin. She was one of the first brides in a while where I didn’t use airbrush, we used Frankie Rose and Tom Ford foundation mixed for each look. To get her super flawless skin I used my nifty Beauty Blender- If you don’t have yourself one of these eggs, I would suggest to get up right night and pick one up! You wont regret it!

Friday Favorites: Top Ten

Happy Friday!
Today I am sharing with you my top ten favorite products at the moment, I was inspired to do this from my beautiful friend, Huda, please visit her page to see many more product reviews!  These are products that I cant live without, I bring them on travel trips and use them as much as I can! I will be sharing a Friday favorite product hopefully every week now. I go through so many new products all the time and I swear I love something new each week! I also have tried a few products and dislike them so I will be sure to share those as well. Hope you all have a lovely weekend, I am preparing for a huge trip next weekend and cant wait to share more!
This is my absolute favorite liner at the moment. It has a felt tip flexible applicator that makes winged liner very easy to apply! I have tried so many liquid liners and they always are so messy and hard to use, this one makes me want to wear a cat-wing everyday!
2. Huda Beauty “Samantha” lashes- I love all Huda Beauty lashes, but these have got to be my favorite lashes of all. “Samantha’s” are pre-stacked wispy & thick lashes. I love the way they open up my eyes and are sexy with any look! I have worn these literally everyday since I set eyes on them :) | Be sure to check out Huda’s page for lots of amazing product reviews and tips. She is amazing!
3. Lorac Pro 2 - I have the Lorac pro 1 and loved it so I had to buy the #2. The Lorac #2 has softer colors. I especially like the peach and nude tones in this palette. Most days I wear “Buff” all over eyelid and “Nectar” in the crease, with the AOM liner. I feel this is an essential palette for all makeup artists because it has 8 shimmer neutral shadows and 8 matte neutral.
4. Japonesque Liquid Light- This golden illuminizer is beautiful when added to the skin before foundation. It adds a gorgeous bronzed glow to the skin and can be added to the foundation for a “dewy” look! There are three different shades of these!
5. “Motives 10 years younger” makeup setting spray- I love to finish each look I create on clients with a spritz of this setting spray. I feel like setting sprays are important to use after you are done applying your products because it prevents your makeup from smudging or setting into fine lines. This allows my face to look vibrant and fresh all day long!
6. Cle De Peau Beaute Concealer- This moisturizing concealer is amazing. It is full coverage so it is perfect for those with dark circles under the eyes. I especially love it to cover any blemishes. I have so many concealers and this is the only one that doesn’t crease. It is a more pricey concealer but 100% worth it!
7. Frankie Rose “Starburst” blush - This is my favorite peach blush. It has flecks of gold shimmer so it is a beautiful blush and highlighter in one. I would compare this to a more subtle NARS “Orgasm”.
8. MAC “Painterly” Paint Pot - I apply this pink/nude paint pot to the eyes before every eyeshadow application. It is my favorite one from MAC. It gives a good base to the eyes and allows the shadows to stick well and last a lot longer on the eyes!
9. Glazed Lip Paint in “Elude” by LA Girl – This glaze has the look of a lipstick but the consistency of a lipgloss. It lasts on the lips a very long
10. Luxie Lush Stippling Brush- This is my favorite brush for apply blushes and cream blushes. Stippling brushes allow me to control the amount of blush that goes on the cheeks. I am not a huge blush fan so when I do wear it this is the tool I use.

Boudoir Eyes: Before & After

Hello Beauties!

I love boudoir makeup. It is so sexy, seductive and hot! I was able to do one of my closest friends makeup this week for hers and was so happy she loved it. We did traditional makeup for this look and did a mixture of Tom Ford and Dior foundation for a very glowy look to the skin. I used my favorite Huda lashes and the Too Faced Boudoir eyes palette to accentuate her eyes! If you are interested in doing a boudoir shoot and need makeup this look is perfect for all, email me for any inquiries! XOX

Products used:

Prime: Motives Perfecting- apply all over skin with fingers. I have been using this primer on clients for the past month and it is by far one of my “must-haves”. It smooths fine lines and fills in any pores/pimples to give an extra smooth finish before foundation.

Foundation: Tom Ford foundation stick #05 / Dior Forever #021 mixed with a beauty blender

Concealer: LA Girl Cosmetics in Ivory - Apply under the eyes and blend in with beauty blender

Setting: Frankie Rose in “Olive” - Apply with a fluffy powder brush and press into skin to set

Contour: Milk Chocolate Soleil by Too Faced- Apply with a slim powder brush to the forehead, cheekbones and nose to contour

Highlight: MUFE Compact shine on #5 – Apply to the temples and high cheekbones, nose, cupids bow and inner corner.

Blush: AOM Cosmetics in “Alluring” -this soft coral/pink is the perfect touch of blush on the cheeks. Apply with a stippling brush for a very light blushing look.

Brushes: Hair and Makeup Addiction Set

Eyeshadow: Any Gray & Black eyeshadow will do to create this top heavy eyeshadow look. I used the actual “Boudoir Eyes” palette from TOO FACED, it just has some beautiful neutral/dark tones for smokey eyes. Apply “Garter Belt” or your gray all over the eyelid with a flat shadow brush, pack it on. Then blend “French Tickler” or your black on the outer corner/crease with a blending brush in circular motions. Dont take the shadow higher than the crease to avoid making it too dramatic. Shadow is complete- super easy!

Eyeliner: Girlactik Precise Marker Liner - Line the top lash line with this felt tip liner pen to define the top lid before lashes.

Eyelashes: Huda Beauty in “Samantha” {Pre-stacked} | Super excited to announce that these lashes along with all her others will be available in the US this September! I will be doing a giveaway soon with them!

Brows: Anastasia BH Pomade in “Dark Brown” - Fill in the brows to define the shape with this brow gel pomade, a little goes a long way.

Lipstick & Gloss: MAC “Faux” lipstick with Nyx Butter gloss in Creme Brule with MAC Underage lipglass = creamy pink nude lip!

Happy Friday from CA!

Well I just got to San Diego and will be out here working for the next week and I couldn’t be more excited to see my family and friends for my birthday today! The weather is gorgeous and the beach is calling my name! I am so lucky to call California home :) Today I wanted to share a quick preview of a fun & whimsical shoot I did with the amazing Andra for my b-day! She had a fun idea of having balloons and being out in a gorgeous field, and I couldn’t resist! I was so in awe with how the photos turned out, she really is the most phenomenal photographer in Utah and I cannot wait to use her again! I used all of my favorite makeup products to create this light makeup look, including: Huda Beauty, Frankie Rose, Dior, Gerard Cosmetics, and Too Faced to name a few! I will do a full tutorial on this look soon, but for now I’m off to the sand!
