Purple Vibes…

Happy Tuesday beautiful babes!

I have been obsessed lately with purple lips. I usually would NEVER wear this color, because I am stuck in my ways and love that sexy-nude-lip, BUT, this color is the exception. Most of the products used to create this look are from my favorite woman, Anastasia Beverly Hills. Her products are always super quality and gorgeous, and I think they are affordable as well. I also used a brand new foundation created by the talented MakeupbyLilit. This full coverage and lightweight foundation is great for ALL skin types, I have semi-oily skin and it holds really well on mine! See more below!

High Fashion/Editorial Glam Shoot: Part 1

Happy weekend my loves!

Today I am sharing with you a very dramatic & glamorous look I created for a fashion shoot  a few weeks ago! These are my favorite looks to create because they allow me to be very artistic with makeup. I posted the fun before and after photo HERE , I always like to show the difference that contouring can make! Obviously Marina needs no makeup to look gorgeous, but I am so glad she was the model and I got to work on her perfect face! I went for a thick winged liner, golden shimmer and deep bordeaux lips. I would suggest this makeup style for mostly party or photo shoots, probably not an everyday style 😉 I will post the face and lips details soon!

Get the eyes…

  • Eyeshadow primer: MAC Painterly applied all over the eyelid
  • Eyeshadows: Lorac Pro Palette-Apply “Sable” all over eyelid | Apply “Espresso” in the outer corner with a flat shadow brush | Apply “Gold” to the center of the eye for a pop of shimmer | Apply “Black” to the outer corner with a blending brush.
  • Inner corner: Urban Decay “Polyester bride” – a shimmering white shadow perfect for highlighting the inner corners.
  • Eyeliner: Girlactik precise pen liner  – Line the top lash line thick with this amazing pen liner- this liner makes creating a “wing” so easy! If you have a hard time getting a super straight line this will help you so much!
  • Lashes: House of lashes in “Starlet” – These are pretty dramatic lashes but they are so beautiful on- they make the eyes appear super large!
  • White liner: Rimmel “white” – line the inner waterline with this white khol to create a bright eyed look.
  • Mascara: Micaroon Mascara – coat the top lashes so that they naturally blend with your real ones.
  • Brows: ABH Brunette duo powder
  • Brushes: Hair and Makeup Addiction shadow brushes

Face and lip details will be posted soon!!

Bordeaux Baby

I love deep red bordeaux lipstick, it has quickly become one of my favorite colors for the lips.
Paired with a bold brow and clean looking skin is the perfect edgy combination.
This makeup was created for a couture dress photo shoot from last week and I have been excited to share with you all how it turned out! Thank you for all the love and support recently! I will be doing some really fun giveaways this month including one in the next couple days. So be sure to come back and enter to win!

Foundation: YSL B40 Applied with a small stippling brush in circular motions {twice to give medium coverage}.
Concealer: Makeup Forever palette 1 highlight under the eyes and down the center of nose with the lightest white concealer, contour the nose with the darkest color on this palette.
Powder: MAC Translucent applied all over to set.
Contour: Frankie Rose Enchant Trio: in Chestnut  Sculpt the cheekbones and forehead with this contour and blusher. Blush was used from same trio: in Starburst on apples of cheeks.
Highlight: MAC Shroom Shadow was used down the center of the nose and on the cheekbones up to the temples. Just use a small but fluffy blending brush to apply in circular motions.

This eyeshadow looks more complicated than it truly is, and it uses the most simple products to achieve it! Be bold and let your eyes shine…

Black shadow: Makeup Forever in black – with a small shadow brush start at the base of the top lash line and create a smooth shadow line across the base of the eyelid. Gently blend the shadow upwards in back and forth motions until you get a soft and diffused black smoke effect. No eyeliner is used on the top eyelid for this look.
Crease: NYX Peach Bronze Apply a peach/brown shadow the the crease only in a windshield wiper motion. Blend!
Eye highlight: MAC Shroom Pop a shimmer white shadow in the center of the eye to make it POP and in the inner corners and under the brow.
Bottom liner: Loreal Smoldering {favorite chunky pencil} apply to inner waterline. smudge underneath with a small smudge brush/ or your finger.
Lashes: Ardell Demi Whispy {4pack}
Brows reshaped: Anastasia Brow Gel in Granite and Brow Powder in Granite ~ Fill in the brows with an angled brush and a shadow the same shade or lighter than your hairs. Brush all the brows upwards with Anastasia brow gel. I tweezed underneath to create a sharp and clean brow line.

Lipliner: Too Faced- Perfect Berry {deep berry}
Lipstick: Too Faced -Divine Wine {Bordeaux red} This is a super super creamy lipstick so no gloss is really needed because there is a hint of shine. I am obsessed with this color and it brings the whole look together. To highlight the center of the lips pop some of your highlighter in the center of the bottom lip.
