The Flawless Bride: Defined Brows

Do they get much prettier? I think not. I was so excited when I met this gorgeous bride, she not only had perfect skin, but amazing features as well! Makes my job so easy, and sometimes I feel guilty even putting any product on a face this beautiful. I went with a dewy airbrush look to enhance her glowing skin, smokey/sparkling eyeshadows, and a more defined brow to shape her face better. I was so happy with how this bridal look came out and couldn’t wait to share it with you all! To inquire about wedding makeup please email Jadembaird@gmail.com

Purple Vibes…

Happy Tuesday beautiful babes!

I have been obsessed lately with purple lips. I usually would NEVER wear this color, because I am stuck in my ways and love that sexy-nude-lip, BUT, this color is the exception. Most of the products used to create this look are from my favorite woman, Anastasia Beverly Hills. Her products are always super quality and gorgeous, and I think they are affordable as well. I also used a brand new foundation created by the talented MakeupbyLilit. This full coverage and lightweight foundation is great for ALL skin types, I have semi-oily skin and it holds really well on mine! See more below!

Spring Makeup & Braided Crowns

Happy Wednesday!
I am super excited to leave tomorrow for a fun weekend of brides, lessons and shoots in California! I wanted to share with you all this super fresh Spring inspired look using some beautiful new products!    I am loving my new hair color with peach tones lately, especially on the lips and cheeks! I also show how I use individual prong lashes to enhance my bottom lashes! I hope you enjoy!
I also wanted to let you all know that my site may be down this weekend, I have been working on my new site for the past 6 months and am finally making it live! I am so excited to show you all! I will still be doing mini-makeup looks on my Instagram with products so check that out! My site will hopefully be live next week so thank you for your patience!

Get the look…
1. prep the eyes with a primer, I like to use MAC Painterly.
2. Apply a shimmer shadow to the eyelid, not going on the crease. I used MAC “Honey Lust”
3. Apply a shimmer peach shadow to the entire crease of the eye. I used Inglot 407
4. Line the top and bottom lash line with a black liner. I used Bobbi Brown Noir Black pencil
5. Line the inner water line with a white liner to make your eyes appear bigger. I used Blink “White”
6. Then apply your top lashes, I used Ardell fashion lashes in 110 Demi Black for the top.
7. I then applied 5 lashes to my bottom lashes! Read how to do this below!
I used Alyssa lashes from Huda Beauty! Dupe: Ardell individual shorts
Bottom lashes 101
If you have ever wondered about how most celebrities get their bottom lashes so long it is not Latisse, it is bottom false lashes! AND they are easier then they appear…
1. Apply mascara to the bottom lashes, coating all of them to make them visible.
2. With tweezers pull of a 3 prong lash and dip the base into a small amount of glue.
3. let it dry lightly.
4. Place the lash on top of a lash hair as if you are lying it on the back of the hair so it rests on top.
5. It will dry quickly and stay all day on that hair until you remove that night.
Repeat this on at least 5 hairs, or more, to create a full look. I spaced mine out so they look “Twiggy” like. I like to use Duo clear lash glue! 🙂
Spring staples!
Stila cream blush “Gerbera” | Girlactik gloss “Orange Twist” | Huda Alyssa lashes
Foundation: Lancome Teint Visionnaire Duo in 160 Ivoire W A skin correcting foundation plus spot corrector duo designed to reveal an immediate, flawless complexion and improve skin day after day. I am in love with the way this makes my skin look, it is build able so it can be worn as a lighter coverage or a heavier. I also used the concealer under my eyes.
I applied with the Real Techniques Expert Face brush – buff into the skin.
Powder highlight: Too Faced “Sheer Gold” powder – apply under eyes, center nose, jaw line.
Bronzer: Milani “Glow” applied to cheekbones and forehead and nose contour. {this has a shimmer in it for highlight too}
Blush: “Gerbera” applied with stippling brush to cheeks. This cream blush is perfect for the lips and the cheeks, it dries to a dewy finish and stays on the skin for hours!
Shape your brows with a powder, pencil or gel. I liked a pencil for this look- Anastasia Soft Brown.
Finish with the a beautiful peach lip- Girlactik Orange Twist is gorgeous and creamy! It is a beautiful orange/peach gloss with no shimmer, perfect for a natural lip look.
See you all on my new site! Thanks for your patience loves!

Old Hollywood Makeup & Hair

 Morning sweets!
I got a lot of emails asking questions about the makeup and hairstyle I was wearing in my Christmas photos, so today I thought I would share with you all the details of that look! I went for an old hollywood vintage style paired with pearly gold eyes. I am also wearing some amazing bottom lashes, these really help to make the eyes appear much larger than they are. I hope you all are having a great holiday with your loved ones! Thanks for stopping by!
 XOX
Eyeshadow:
{details of this look: I wanted to add hints of pearl and gold towards the center of the eye and then really smoke the outer corner and keep the crease soft. I feel like this is a beautiful holiday look!}
Inner corner and brow bone: “Bootycall” {shimmer pearl}
Lid: “Chopper” and “Half Baked” {gilded gold}
Outer corner and bottom lash line  “Busted” {deep shimmer brown}
Crease: MAC “Haux” {muted brown}
Bottom liner: Benefit Eye Bright
Bottom lashes: Monda human hair bottom
tutorial on how to apply the lashes HERE
 I recently tried these amazing false lashes for the bottom lash, and I am in love! They completely open up the eye and make them look so much larger than they really are. They are very comfortable too, if applied correctly.
Face:
Foundation: YSL #B40 mixed with Clarins #109
{^ the perfect dewy finish}
Highlight: “Bootycall” shadow from Naked 2 palette
{^ Apply to cheekbones and down center of the nose}
Lipstick: Milani 26 “Nude Creme” {Yummiest lipsticks ever!}
Hair:
This is a super easy and elegant hairstyle, all you need are the following tools. Part your hair far on the side and curl your hair towards your face. Spray the curls and let them set for around ten minutes. Tease the root of the hair so that it is large and spray with the strong hold.
Softly brush out the curls so they create soft vintage waves.
Teasing Brush: Marilyn back comb
I really wanted to get some great family photos with my husband this year because you can never have enough photos, so I planned this super cute winter shoot! Little did I know how quickly I would freeze and chicken out on wearing heels in the snow. Warmth overcame fashion in this situation. So if I look extremely cold in these…I am ;). Luckily I had my man to keep me a little warm!
Thank you to Lauren, my dear friend, for taking these photos!
Happy Holidays to you all!
