Indian Beauty: Double Winged Liner

Hello loves!

Today I have this gorgeous dramatic Indian bridal look to share with you all! Traditional Indian wedding makeup has got to be one of my favorite looks to create! They usually have a very bold eye with either glitters or heavy liner. In this case, my gorgeous bride, Jasmine {ya she looks like the Disney princess too}, requested a copper smokey eye with double winged liner. To create this very heavy wined-liner look, a steady hand is required, but a heavy hand as well so that you can apply a bold amount! Not only is this look stunning, but it really makes the eyes the main focus! I used some fluffy Huda Beauty lashes, of course, and bronze shadows from Estee Lauder’s new palette Bronze Goddess <3

Contour Transformation: New Zealand Bride

I was so excited to do makeup on this beautiful blonde bride of mine, as well as honored that she traveled all the way from New Zealand to Vegas and booked me. I love when my brides find me on Pinterest from across the world and book with me. I loved doing this transformation, my style is definitely on the more glamorized side of makeup. I am a fan of the full contour and false lashes look. Its all about how you apply it though! See how I created this makeup below! XOXO

For all those who were interested in the breakdown of this makeup look, I am finally sharing it! When it comes to glam bridal makeup, the blending is the most important part. For full coverage looks, the mistake many artists do is not using the right tools to apply the foundation and powders. You need a Beauty Blender, high quality brushes, and HD cremes to create a flawless face. Airbrush makeup is just the icing on top when it comes to creating that “smooth complexion”. See all the products I used below, and for those interested in my advanced Makeup Artist lessons, email me at

Face Products:
Primer: Clarins Instant Smooth Pore Filler – apply all over skin to fill in lines and pores
Concealer: Eve Pearl “Salmon” concealer to highlight and brighten under the eyes and hide any wrinkles
HD Creme/Contour: Anastasia Cream Contour Kit in Light – apply “Banana” to highlight & “Cream” to contour

Airbrush Foundation: Temptu S/B #7 & #6 mixed {Airbrush classes available}
Powder: Frankie Rose “Olive” powder Apply all over the face to set the airbrush foundation.
Under eye powder: Ben Nye “White” powder to set under the eyes – This is a super important product for ALL makeup artists, I use this to “Bake” or as most call it “Set” the under eyes. Apply this before applying any eyeshadow to avoid fall-out.
Blush: theBalm “Frat Boy” – Apply this peach matte blush to the apples of the cheeks.
Bronzer: MAC Trace Gold – Used to contour the nose and narrow the bridge and tip. To learn my technique attend on of my classes.
Highlight: Dose of Colors “Pearl Dust” -a pink/pearl glow highlight – Apply to inner eyes, nose, cheekbones, cupids bow!

Shadow: Tarte TARTLETTE palette – all neutral brown shades
Liner: Motives Luxe liner pen-  for top lash line /  NYX Mechanical pencil in black for waterline

Lashes: Huda Beauty “Coco Jo” – multi length fluttery lashes
Brows: Anastasia Brow Wiz “Soft Brown” to shape brows perfectly
Setting Spray: Japonesque Setting Spray – My absolute favorite setting spray at the moment, it takes away any oils and sets the makeup perfectly so it lasts all day long!

Lipstick: Dose of Colors in “Coy” a very peach lipstick shade that is beautiful for any bride!
Lipgloss: Buxom “Boo-ya” lip gloss – full bodied plumping gloss!

The Flawless Bride: Defined Brows

Do they get much prettier? I think not. I was so excited when I met this gorgeous bride, she not only had perfect skin, but amazing features as well! Makes my job so easy, and sometimes I feel guilty even putting any product on a face this beautiful. I went with a dewy airbrush look to enhance her glowing skin, smokey/sparkling eyeshadows, and a more defined brow to shape her face better. I was so happy with how this bridal look came out and couldn’t wait to share it with you all! To inquire about wedding makeup please email

Feeling Flawless: Traditional Bride Makeup

Good Morning!

Today I am sharing with you the gorgeous bridal shots from one of my best friends weddings this past weekend! I was lucky enough to doll her up for all her events and photos! We did a very chic cat-eye look for her bridals, a smokey eye for her boudoirs {HERE}, and a sultry silver & black look for her wedding day. Working on this girls face is a piece of cake, she has flawless brows and beautiful skin. She was one of the first brides in a while where I didn’t use airbrush, we used Frankie Rose and Tom Ford foundation mixed for each look. To get her super flawless skin I used my nifty Beauty Blender- If you don’t have yourself one of these eggs, I would suggest to get up right night and pick one up! You wont regret it!

Boudoir Eyes: Before & After

Hello Beauties!

I love boudoir makeup. It is so sexy, seductive and hot! I was able to do one of my closest friends makeup this week for hers and was so happy she loved it. We did traditional makeup for this look and did a mixture of Tom Ford and Dior foundation for a very glowy look to the skin. I used my favorite Huda lashes and the Too Faced Boudoir eyes palette to accentuate her eyes! If you are interested in doing a boudoir shoot and need makeup this look is perfect for all, email me for any inquiries! XOX

Products used:

Prime: Motives Perfecting– apply all over skin with fingers. I have been using this primer on clients for the past month and it is by far one of my “must-haves”. It smooths fine lines and fills in any pores/pimples to give an extra smooth finish before foundation.

Foundation: Tom Ford foundation stick #05 / Dior Forever #021 mixed with a beauty blender

Concealer: LA Girl Cosmetics in Ivory – Apply under the eyes and blend in with beauty blender

Setting: Frankie Rose in “Olive” – Apply with a fluffy powder brush and press into skin to set

Contour: Milk Chocolate Soleil by Too Faced– Apply with a slim powder brush to the forehead, cheekbones and nose to contour

Highlight: MUFE Compact shine on #5 – Apply to the temples and high cheekbones, nose, cupids bow and inner corner.

Blush: AOM Cosmetics in “Alluring” -this soft coral/pink is the perfect touch of blush on the cheeks. Apply with a stippling brush for a very light blushing look.

Brushes: Hair and Makeup Addiction Set

Eyeshadow: Any Gray & Black eyeshadow will do to create this top heavy eyeshadow look. I used the actual “Boudoir Eyes” palette from TOO FACED, it just has some beautiful neutral/dark tones for smokey eyes. Apply “Garter Belt” or your gray all over the eyelid with a flat shadow brush, pack it on. Then blend “French Tickler” or your black on the outer corner/crease with a blending brush in circular motions. Dont take the shadow higher than the crease to avoid making it too dramatic. Shadow is complete- super easy!

Eyeliner: Girlactik Precise Marker Liner – Line the top lash line with this felt tip liner pen to define the top lid before lashes.

Eyelashes: Huda Beauty in “Samantha” {Pre-stacked} | Super excited to announce that these lashes along with all her others will be available in the US this September! I will be doing a giveaway soon with them!

Brows: Anastasia BH Pomade in “Dark Brown” – Fill in the brows to define the shape with this brow gel pomade, a little goes a long way.

Lipstick & Gloss: MAC “Faux” lipstick with Nyx Butter gloss in Creme Brule with MAC Underage lipglass = creamy pink nude lip!

Eyes & lips…

Blue Eyed Beauty

This past weekend in California, this beauty got married and I glammed her up with some smoked out blacks, browns and creams to accentuate her ocean blue eyes. I am so envious when I see girls with naturally dark hair and light colored eyes, it is the most stunning combination of features to me. I will just have to stick to colored contacts though because I was not blessed with baby blues or greens. If you are getting married and doing your own makeup look, this is a really easy and sexy look to achieve. Most girls want the most minimal amount of makeup on their special day, but there are some who want a little more glam {which is my style for sure}, so if that is what you are going for, keep reading!
Get the eyes…
Blue eyes stand out especially when you use a light shade in the inner corner and a dark shade towards the outer corners. There are many colors that make blue eyes pop, brown, gold, gray, black, plums, the list goes on. This look is great on blue eyes, but can be worn on all colors as well!
The great thing about these eyes is that you really only need three colors:
a soft brown, shimmer tan, and a dark blackish/brown
Any brand of shadow will really do but I used all Inglot shadows for this look. Inglot is a line based out of Las Vegas, their shadows are highly pigmented and very affordable. A new favorite for sure.
Step 1: Apply a shimmer tan shadow all over the eyelid with a shadow brush. Apply it also to the inner tear ducts of the eyes and under the brow bone for a highlight.
Step 2: With any blending brush, apply a soft brown shadow directly into the crease in a windshield wiper motion. This will be used as your transition or blending color for the dark brown shadow.
Step 3. Apply a cat winged gel eyeliner to the eyes that gradually goes from thin to thicker at the outer ends. I like to use a gel liner because I can control it better than liquid liners.
Step 4: Apply a dark brown/black over the outer winged liner and up towards the crease with a tapered blending brush. What we are trying to do is smoke out the wing so that it looks blended, this look is meant to be smokey and not defined. Bring the dark brown into the crease and blend with the soft brown, do this with a blending brush to add softness to the crease.
Step 5: How do you get such sharp angles on the outer corner? To get this super cut look, you will need a lip brush and some concealer. Apply a small amount of concealer to your flat lip brush and paint a straight line starting underneath the cat winged liner and up towards the end of your eyebrow. This will clean up under the shadow and make it look “perfected”.
Step 6: Pop on some false lashes or mascara and your eyes are complete. No bottom liner is used in this look, you can apply a little of the tan shimmer shadow to brighten under the eyes.
Products I used…
Shimmer tan shade: Inglot #395
Soft brown shade: Inglot #342
Dark brown/black shade: Inglot #500
{This shade is darker in person}
False Eyelashes: House Of Lashes: Tigress
Concealer {shadow clean up}: Coastal Scents palette
Brushes I used…
Concealer: MUFE Concealer palette No.1 Apply concealer under the eyes with a damp beauty blender after you have done your eyeshadow makeup. I do my face after because I can perfectly clean up any fall of shadows.
Foundation: Airbrush {Glamaire}– Apply your foundation to the skin wether it be airbrush or traditional foundation.
Powder: Ben Nye Camel powder~ Apply this setting powder all over the face to set the foundation.
Bronze/Contour: Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer~ Apply this to the hollows of the cheekbones with a taped contour brush, apply to the forehead as well. Apply to the sides of the nose with a small shadow brush to define the nose. Also, do not forget the neck.
Blush: Mary Kay -Pink Petals~ Apply lightly to the apples of the cheeks.
Highlight: The Balm~ Mary-Lou Manizer~ Apply this shimmering pearl highlight to the temples and down to the apples of the cheeks, down the nose, and cupids bow.
Lipstick: Nars~ Dolce Vita~ This is a super natural pink lip color, great for girls who don’t want a bold lip but something very soft and sweet. I applied this with a lip brush so that the color goes on lighter, I also added a clear gloss over it for a little shine.
Setting Spray: Skindinavia bridal spray~ Every bride needs to set her makeup so it lasts her throughout her entire wedding night. This is the spray that you need, it will seal your makeup like glue to your face so that nothing shifts around while you are dancing or kissing your groom.

I hope you all enjoyed this look of one of my California brides this weekend!
Thanks for stopping by!
