Freckle Face: Contour Phase 1

Hello Babes!!!

Today I am sharing with you the first of my contouring with freckles. When it comes to contouring with freckles, you have two options. Cover them completely or learn how to blend with the freckles. In this look, since it was for a high end photo shoot, we did a full cover and contour. If you are interested in learning how to contour for your gorgeous freckle face, and not have to cover your sun kisses then stay tuned, I will be teaching a YouTube video just for this soon!

Indian Beauty: Double Winged Liner

Hello loves!

Today I have this gorgeous dramatic Indian bridal look to share with you all! Traditional Indian wedding makeup has got to be one of my favorite looks to create! They usually have a very bold eye with either glitters or heavy liner. In this case, my gorgeous bride, Jasmine {ya she looks like the Disney princess too}, requested a copper smokey eye with double winged liner. To create this very heavy wined-liner look, a steady hand is required, but a heavy hand as well so that you can apply a bold amount! Not only is this look stunning, but it really makes the eyes the main focus! I used some fluffy Huda Beauty lashes, of course, and bronze shadows from Estee Lauder’s new palette Bronze Goddess <3

Enjoy!

Purple Vibes…

Happy Tuesday beautiful babes!

I have been obsessed lately with purple lips. I usually would NEVER wear this color, because I am stuck in my ways and love that sexy-nude-lip, BUT, this color is the exception. Most of the products used to create this look are from my favorite woman, Anastasia Beverly Hills. Her products are always super quality and gorgeous, and I think they are affordable as well. I also used a brand new foundation created by the talented MakeupbyLilit. This full coverage and lightweight foundation is great for ALL skin types, I have semi-oily skin and it holds really well on mine! See more below!

Bronzed & Peachy: Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

 Hello loves!
I am in love with the Chocolate Bar palettes from Too Faced! They each have a perfect combination of shimmery and matte shadows! I wanted to create a cat eye paired with lots of peach tones {my favorite}. I went for a peach cut-crease and glimmer lid using this fabulous palette and a few other new products I am enjoying! I am wearing the Lily Lashes for this look in the style “Tehran”. These are a new style of lashes for me, they are wispy and long, and the band is super comfortable and not too thick! See full products below…

‘Tis The Season For Red…

Good Morning Sweets!

‘Tis the season to shine! Its time to dust off your sparkly dresses and glam up your beauty routine with hints of red! To help get you in the spirit, today I am sharing with you a holiday bridal look that I created on the gorgeous, Kendyl Bell. She wanted a very glamorous Winter look, so of course we had to do some bright ombre red lips! I used two of my favorite products to create this look, House of Lashes in “Iconic” & Lime Crime Velvetine lip stain! I wanted to do a review on these two because they give the perfect finishing touches to this seasonal makeup!

Enjoy…

IMG_8914

Lime Crime Velvetine in “Red Velvet” – This velvet to matte lip creme is gorgeous for photos and every day wear. Spice up your Xmas by wearing this paired with golden eyes or a sophisticated wing! I always suggest these for clients who are taking engagement photos or wedding day because they stay on even through the kissing! Line your lips completely with a darker toned lip liner {2 shades darker than the red to create the “Ombre” look} then fill in the center of the lips with the matte creme!

IMG_8918Lashes: House of Lashes in “Iconic” – These spikey fluffy lashes are so perfect for opening up the eyes and creating a really dramatic look to the eyes! The band on these lashes is a little thicker than normal to allow all the hairs to be supported, so if you have sensitive eyes I would suggest trying a lash a little bit thinner. For those who don’t mind the band these lashes will look great on you! I love applying them to round eyes because they really open them up even more! They are also reusable up to 5 times when you take good care of them! House of Lashes always supplies high quality lashes!

Bronzed Eyes & Bubblegum Lips

Happy Monday!

Today I have a bronzed eyeshadow and bubblegum lips makeup tutorial for y’all! I had a beauty event this weekend and this is the look I created for it! I am wearing a lot of new products, including LA Girl Cosmetics and Artist of Makeup Cosmetics {AOM} ! These are both super nice quality lines and I am so thrilled to have them as a part of my collection! I will be doing more product reviews for you all so that you will know the best makeup to buy! Have a great day and I hope you enjoy this post!

photo 5

Foundation: “Earth Yellow” Camo Cosmetics with a Luxie Lush stippling brush

Concealer: LA Girl in “Classic Ivory”- these are wonderful creaseless concealers that work perfect for hiding dark circles or brightening up the under eyes! {review to come}

Blush: AOM Cosmetics “Dainty Doll”– this is a gorgeous pearl pink with flecks of highlight. I would suggest this for all skin types. Super high quality & pigmented.

Highlighter: AOM Cosmetics in “Candlelight” – my new favorite highlighter on the planet – this is a beautiful pearl/white highlight that adds the perfect amount of glow to the skin. I would compare it to MAC Soft and Gentle and Becca Opal mixed!

Contour: AOM Cosmetics contour stick {review to come}

Powder: Dior setting powder

photo 2 copy

Eyeshadows: AOM HD shadows-

  1. Bare Canvas- apply all over the lid to create a nude base
  2. Espresso- apply Espresso to the inner corner of the eye and the outer corner of the eye creating a “Smokey” effect on each corner.
  3. Molton- Apply this with a wet brush to the center of the lid for a pop of bronzed shimmer.
  4. Glow- pop this shadow on top of Molton to create that beige-bronze color

.Liner on bottom: Line the eyes with white liner- LA Girl in “White”

Brown shadow on bottom: add the “Espresso” with an angled brush along the bottom lash line and blend with a Q-tip.

Lashes: Huda Beauty in the NEW “Samantha” pre-stacked lashes applied with Huda Beauty lash glue! I have to rant about these a bit… I am absolutely in LOVE with them to say the least. I have been stacking lashes {applying two} to my eyes for so long because I love the look of overly thick, long, black lashes. Finally I have found a pair that is natural but still thick and makes my eyes look big and beautiful! Thank you Huda for making such a beautiful style of lashes, they really are the most comfortable, high quality and stunning lashes.

As you all know, I wear Huda lashes majority of the time and use them on most of my clients- they are currently being sold only in Dubai but will be shipping world wide soon, and once they are you must all try them! I will be doing a fun giveaway soon with these lashes, so please check back!

Lips: LA Girl Glazed Lip Paint in “Babydoll” – These are beautiful lip glosses that come out like thick creamy lipstick. I love the texture of them and they last super long. This color lasted me three hours through my beauty event! {review to come}

Retro eyes & A POP of color…

Hello hunnies!
Hope your weekend was fabulous. Last week I had the opportunity to do my darling friend, Aubrey’s, makeup for a wedding inspired shoot. I actually did her makeup for her wedding last year as well and was so excited when she was chosen to be the model. Saying she is perfectly gorgeoous is an understatement, just see below. I went for a very retro inspired eye and a hot pink matte lip. This is a super fun look for a photo shoot, Vegas trip or straight up every day if you are gutsy enough. I loved how it turned out with Aubrey’s turquoise eyes. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back for an amazing skincare giveaway this week with Image Skincare!

So to achieve this look what you will need mostly is black liner: liquid & Pencil, a hot pink lip pencil, and lashes. Those are the staple products that are used here, so it really doesnt matter what brand you use. This is much easier than it looks because not a lot of eyeshadow is used.

Since this beautiful lip pencil is not avaialble yet, I have included some DUPE colors below for you to try! MUAH!

February Favorites

Hello sweethearts!
Sorry for my disappearance on here the last couple days! I have been working in LA/SD for the past week on some really fun projects! I also had the chance to be a part of an awesome beauty campaign with Frankie Rose Cosmetics where I was one of the faces for their new products coming out! I will share more info soon! Today I am showing a few of my favorite products this February. These are a few things that I have not been able to live without and use on the daily! I will share more of my favorites monthly from now on! Hope you all enjoy and have a wonderful weekend!
XOX

  1. | F21 Makeup Bag {similar}|  – How adorable is this little makeup sack!? I fell in love instant when I saw it and it was only $5 so it had to be mine!
  2. | NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream “Addis Ababa” |  These glosses glide on smooth and dry to a perfect matte lipstick finish. They are great to use as a stain and have a beautiful variety of colors ranging from pale pinks to deep burgundy. Buy at your nearest Ulta beauty!
  3. |Anastasia Tweezers and DipBrow |  I have been obsessed with the DipBrow Pomade from Anastasia since she sent it to me. The texture is smooth like a gel liner and high pigmented, so a little product goes a LONG way. I have barely put a dent in mine. I like to groom any hairs with her awesome pink tweezers as well, they have a great grip on even the tiniest hairs!
  4. | Eve Pearl Concealer | If you have yet to know about the Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer, you are missing out. This product was made for those who suffer from dark circles under their eyes. The salmon side is supposed to hide any blue/purple/yellow tones in the skin and the concealer side is to be used on top of the salmon. This creates the perfect amount of coverage and dries to a powder form! Not to mention it does NOT crease! hallelujah 🙂
  5. | Clarins “Instant Definition” Mascara | I was gifted a couple of these Clarins mascaras to try and was blown away at how wonderful they made my natural lashes look. If you like mascara that makes your lashes clean, sharp and defined, you will like this one. No clumsiness at all. It is all because of the very tiny applicator wand!
  6. | Too Faced “Candy Glow” Blush |  This is a new blush that I have been happy to add to my collection. Too Faced is probably one of my favorite lines. Their quality is impeccable and they have a lot to choose from. This blush is a pink to peach ombre shimmer trio, perfect for brides! I will do a tutorial using it soon!
  7. | Hot Pink Velcro-Kling Rollers | I love to pop these on the crown of my hair to add a bit of volume to the top. I like to heat up my strands by curling them with a beauty wand and then rolling in these rollers from the very end of a two inch strand and rolling it all the way to the root. Let it sit while doing your makeup and remove. Wa-la, perfect bounce!

Love,
KC
