Two Toned Eyeliner & Anastasia Lip Gloss

I was recently sent the gorgeous new Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss set to try out and fell in love with the Nude set. It has six beautiful shades of neutral tone goodness! These glosses are not only gorgeously pigmented, but they smell like literal sugar. In the look below I am wearing Dainty {peach} mixed with Vintage {rose}, to create a dusty rose lip! I am also sporting a wicked liner. Winged liner is my go-to for my every day makeup. I never get sick of a slick black wing, but I like to change it up sometimes. So today I am sharing the products I use to create a bronzed two-tone wing! I am also wearing the new Huda Beauty Mink lashes in “Raquel”, a very wispy, thick and long lash!
Hope you enjoy!

Two Tone Liner: To create this playful style of winged liner, it is very simple. Draw a winged liner as thick as you desire how you  regularly would. Second, use an angled eyeliner brush, and a sparkle bronze color. Over line the beginning of the inner corner of liner to the middle of the eye with the bronzed shadow. This will create an “ombre” effect to the liner from light to dark. Apply mascara or false lashes. Complete!

Purple Vibes…

Happy Tuesday beautiful babes!

I have been obsessed lately with purple lips. I usually would NEVER wear this color, because I am stuck in my ways and love that sexy-nude-lip, BUT, this color is the exception. Most of the products used to create this look are from my favorite woman, Anastasia Beverly Hills. Her products are always super quality and gorgeous, and I think they are affordable as well. Girly Grunge Makeup

Let me introduce you to this beautiful and stunning babe~ Alexis Jade. She is pure perfection.
This look was inspired by a grungy vibe. Grunge style is sexy, yet effortlessly pretty at the same time. Great for any season, especially Fall, and anyone can rock it. I met Alexis because she was the model for a recent book cover shoot I did for two talented best-selling authors. You don’t have to worry about anything being perfect or just right with this makeup because it’s supposed to look rocker-messy! Plus, its really, really easy to do! Happy Wednesday!

Her testimonial…
“I loved working with Jade, she made me feel like a complete Barbie! I also loved that she kept asking me what I wanted and what I normally do, she really considered my opinion and I loved that. I also loved that she was direct with me and taught me along the way small tips. The makeup felt so light and stayed on all day. Not only that, but all night!! She will definitely be doing my wedding makeup when the time comes!” ~Alexis Jade
Foundation: YSL #B40 {Best for those with dry skin, or those who like dewy skin}
Apply two pumps of this luminous foundation to the back of your hand and dip your brush into the liquid. Buff onto the skin and get flawless coverage. Use the concealer to spot treat any imperfecitons.
I added a very small amount of Airbrush to her forehead and jawline for a little extra coverage for the photo shoot. This step is not needed for everyday.
Concealer: MAC NC25
Powder: Banana Powder Ben Nye
Bronzer and Blush: BH Cosmetics blush set This is the perfect blush and bronzer palette that is filled with ten amazing colors. I use the top X color for my bronzer and the bottom X color for a peach blush. The best part is that it is only $15!
Highlighter: Laura Mercier Star Dust Apply with a powder brush to temples and cheekbones!
More Highlighter: Benefit Watt’s Up {duo here} ~ I got this cute highlighter for free at Sephora on my birthday, I love it! I use it mostly for highlighting the tip of the nose, inner corners of eyes, and cupids bow. Just apply to ring finger and tap onto those areas!
Lipstick: Revlon Blushing Nude This burnt-peach lipstick is a great shade for a great price.
  • For these eyes, I used a MAC Paint Pot in the color Quite Natural for the base. Apply it with your finger and blend onto the lid as if it were a primer. Be quick with this product because it does dry quickly and is hard to blend after dried.
  • Next, apply a muted grayish-brown shadow. I used one of my old Illamasqua shadows in the color Incubus. Apply with a blending brush all over the eyelid. Don’t forget to apply in circular motions for a perfect blend!
  • Apply a little bit of shimmer just to the center of the eye, this will attract light and give that grunge effect that we are going for. I used Urban Decay shadow in Sidecar {shimmer taupe}.
  • Line the inner water line with a black eyeliner {Loreal Smoldering}. Also tight line the eyes by lifting your upper life and applying the same liner to the top waterline. This may feel a little uncomfortable, but gives a beautiful look. Apply some of the same gray shadow to the lower lash line with either your ring finger, for extra smudginess, or a blending brush.
  • Apply some Mascara to top and bottom or if you want to apply lashes, my favorite are House Of Lashes- Tigress
-Bold Brows-

For these super bold brows inspired by the beautiful Lily Collins, these are the following steps to follow to make them still seem natural.
Line the bottom of the brow in a straight line  and follow the shape you already have. Draw another straight vertical line on the inner ends of the brows, this will give you a more “square” shape. Doing this will give you a good outline for your thick brows when we apply the powder. Brush your brows up with the spooly end, you want all your brows to brush straight upwards.
Anastasia Pencil

Grab a deep brown powder, I used Anastasia Dark Brown and the Bobbi Brown brow brush. When powdering in your brows, it is super important to draw on the hairs as if you were brushing them up with your brow brush. This will ensure a a real look “drawn on” hairs. fill in the entire brows and lightly arch when you get closer to the end of the eye.
** Clean up any brow mistakes with your lip brush and concealer!
