In Home Spa: Moisture Facial

Have you ever had the best facial in your entire life and wish you could do it every month but cant because of the cost? Well now you can bring that relaxing facial to the heart of your home with just a few products. Keeping up on your skincare routine is super important, especially when it comes to cleaning out your pores. With these great products and a few tips you can have pure skin all year long!

  • First, start off by cleansing your face with the Fresh Soy Cleanser and some luke warm water. This is a wonderful cleanser for any skin type. Rich in amino acids, the soy proteins promote moisture retention, elasticity, and firmness. Rosewater balances and tones the skin. It is fragrance-free and soap-free, and infused with calming cucumber extract, yumm!
  • Next, turn on your portable Steamer. While it is heating, soak your towels in a bowl of warm/hot water. For some aroma therapy you can add a couple drops of lavender into the water. {If you do not have a steamer, boil  some water until it steams and place in a bowl, cover with a towel so steam stays in. When you are about to steam in your next step keep face 7 inches away from water and soak it in.}
  • When your steam is ready, apply your Suki Exfoliator evenly to the skin and lightly rub in circles into the skin for about a minute. Let the exfoliator soak into the pores underneath the steamer for 10 minutes. This will allow your pores to open up and get prepared for the extractions of any blackheads.  The Natural sugar crystals in this exfoliant will slough off dead skin to reduce fine lines and hyperpigmentation as they smooth skin’s surface. Rice flour extract stimulates circulation and chamomile extract calms inflammation and cools redness. Great for all skin types as well.
  • Remove the exfoliator with your luke warm towel. You are now ready to remove any blackheads on the nose and any whiteheads. With two pieces of gauze or tissues, lightly squeeze out any imperfections from the skin. This is the correct and healthiest way to remove impurities from the skin. • After all of your extractions, you can calm the skin with a mask or a facial oil massage. I like to use Josie Marans Argan oil. In light, circular motions massage the oil around the eyes, cheekbones, jaw and then full face. Don’t worry about this oil clogging your pores because it won’t, This 100% Pure Argan Oil is a legendary oil that’s rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids, and grown organically in Morocco. With its multitasking benefits, Argan Oil can be used for many areas including hydrating and nourishing skin, as a daily moisturizer and a skin treatment for any facial.
  • Finish off your relaxing facial with an anti-aging serum. Ole Henricksens Collagen Serum is an oil-free serum that works like a food for the skin and it contains vitamins for the face. The powered vitamin C compounds help even out fine lines as well as wrinkles and put off further breakdown. This serum is loaded with antioxidants to battle with ecological attackers and wetness binding ingredients to keep the skin fed and sheltered.
  • There you have it, a purifying and hydrating at home facial! Best to do at night before bed!

Being an Aesthetician has taught me so much about skincare, especially the importance to take care of it as much as you can while you are younger. You don’t have to use the most expensive products but making sure to take off your makeup every night, using a toner, moisturizer and some type of anti-aging product will do wonders. I will soon be posting about my daily skin routines, so stay tuned!
In the mean time, what are your favorite skin care products?

Lots of love!
