Bellami Hair Extensions Review

Hello Loves!

I promised a Bellami hair review a couple months ago and I finally am getting around to it! Needless to say, I love them! I only wear these extensions for photo shoots because I naturally have long hair, and I am one of those girls who loves to wear a pony tail on the weekly! BUT, if I were to wear extensions every day, I would highly suggest these. I wear the Bellisma “Dirty Blonde” 22inches. The color blends perfectly with my golden tones, and I like how it even adds a little more of a “blombre” look to my locks. Below I have written my favorite things about these extensions and why you should purchase your pair today…

1. Keeps Curls
I feel like these extensions hold the curl really well. I usually just have to curl them once and they hold atleast for the next 5 times I use them! I don’t suggest to use a hot iron on them daily just to ensure that they last a lot longer.

2. Strong Clips
These rubber grip clips really hold to the hair. I didn’t have to tease the root or even add any hairspray for them to stay in place. The longest I have worn the extensions is around 5 hours, so I am not sure how well they would do for a full day, BUT I didn’t have any issues with discomfort and think they feel very secure.

3. Super Thick Wefts
These extensions are perfect for those seeking more volume to there hair. Each weft is filled with thick hair and a lot of it. I only use around 2 wefts in my hair to add thickness. Sometimes I will wear to on each sides of my hair {parted in middle} to really add that extra thickness at the root. They can feel a bit heavy if you are not used to wearing them, but this isn’t visible.

4. Must Brush Often
The only thing I noticed is that they need to be taken care of very often. To keep them looking quality I brush them with my Wet Brush after each use and before. I have not yet washed them, so once I do I will let you know how they turn out!

Amara Glam Event: Part 1 Getting Ready

Good Morning!

Today I am sharing with you some of the things I did to get ready for my event that I hosted at Amara Day Spa! It was such a great night filled with amazing giveaways, glam treatments and yummy food {of course}! I always love getting ready for events, but it takes a lot of work for me when I do. I love to get a spray tan, my hair-did, nails filled/painted, and of course pick out the perfect outfit! For this event I wanted to wear a very bold color, so red was what I chose. I got all pampered at Amara and it was amazing! To learn more about how I got ready, keep reading! I will be posting Part 2 tomorrow and be talking all about the MAKEUP I did for the event and more!

Hair: I love to get a blow out and scalp treatment before any event or party. This really helps to deep cleanse the hair follicles and add lots of volume to my hair. I went in to Amara to get a Deep Conditioning Scalp treatment and a volume blow out. They used Loreal Professional products and lots of dry shampoo to give my hair a root lift!

Loreal Professionnel Serie Absolut Repair Masque – This really helps to repair any split ends and add shine to my hair!

Powder Fresh Dry Shampoo – For those who have issues with volume, this dry shampoo is heaven sent! Spray at the roots and tease for ultimate bombshell hair!

Loreal Infinium spray 4 extra hold – To hold that volume or curls all day/night long, this hairspray is my fave!

Color: My color was done by my good friend and fabulous hair-guru, Lindsey Catano. She is unreal with all hair colors, especially golden bronze hair like mine. I had her add some more balyage color to my crown to add a little more blonde to my hair! She is a genius. If you are ever in Utah – contact her!

Spray tan & bronzing lotion: I love to get a full body airbrush tan before anything! When you are tan you feel sexy, confident and just hot. I like to get my spray tan atleast one-two days before the event, this allows your tan to breathe a little bit and “marinate” on your skin. I then like to wash it off the morning of the event day and lotion myself with a tinted bronzer.

Spray Tan: Amara | Ask for Nikee Anderson

Bronzing Lotion: Million Dollar Tan “all that glitters” shimmer dry oil – WOW. This stuff is unreal. I would describe it as makeup for the body. That could sound scary to some but this oil/lotion really does a great job at adding a golden tan, a hint shimmer and also covering any veins or discoloration!

Outfit details… Styled by Angie of – she is one of my best friends and has THE best fashion sense.

Dress: Herve Leger red longsleeve bandage  – This dress is amazing to say the least. I love how bandage dresses are so fitted on the body and really hold everything tight like a second layer of skin. The red is such a pretty statement color, but I also have this dress in black for those who want a LBD!

Shoes: Christian Louboutin classic black slingbacks (see below)

Earrings: Vintage Givenchy (see below)
